About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from Mansalto’s own vineyards in the municipalities of Bucine and Monte San Savino. The vines are around 20 years old, planted at 500 m above sea level on sandy, slate-rich soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness and sorted at the winery. Each variety is vinified separately, with fermentation on the skins in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks for 20–25 days. After gentle pressing, the wines are blended.
Ageing
The blend remains in stainless-steel tanks until bottling.
