About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the Monferrato area of Piedmont.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, with Pinot Nero picked in late August and Barbera in mid-September. The varieties are vinified separately. Controlled-temperature fermentation with traditional maceration lasts 10–12 days. During the first three days, the must is pumped over and délestage is carried out.
Ageing
The wines rest in stainless-steel tanks before being blended at the end of winter and bottled in spring.
Tasting profile
Elegant.
