Label / history
Martini has produced Prosecco in Veneto for many years. In August 2009, its classification was upgraded from IGT to DOC. From then on, the Prosecco name applied only to wines made under government-monitored standards from grapes grown in Veneto or Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The change coincided with updates to the wine’s flavour and texture.
