About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards are in La Morra, on clay and limestone soils. The vines are 20 years old on average.
Vinification
After harvest and gentle pressing, the grapes undergo maceration, alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine remains in the same stainless-steel tanks for six months.
Tasting profile
The 2009 vintage is elegant and at peak maturity.
