About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards are in Fumane, in the heart of the Valpolicella Classico region.
Vinification
The grapes are picked slightly overripe and sorted carefully by hand. They are placed in small crates and left to dry until early February. After pressing, the must undergoes 30 days of pre-fermentation maceration at a low temperature. Fermentation lasts 30 days at no more than 18 °C.
Ageing
The wine ages for 12 months in French oak barrels.
