About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is grown in Tuscany at 50–100 metres above sea level. Montepeloso’s hillside vineyards extend over 7 hectares and have clay soils.
Ageing
The wine matures in French oak barrels.
Tasting profile
The 2007 vintage has an open, fragrant nose, with pure, fresh notes of red cherry, flowers, sweet tobacco and liquorice. Its long, clean and silky finish carries notes of sweet tobacco, earth and flowers.
