About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The fruit comes from Monterinaldi’s oldest vineyard, a single plot planted more than 35 years ago. The mature vines and the site’s distinctive terroir contribute character and depth.

Grapes

The vineyard is planted with Sangiovese Grosso.

Vinification

The grapes are handled gently before fermentation in concrete tanks. Oak is deliberately avoided to preserve the vineyard character, structure, purity and individual expression of the vintage.

Ageing

The wine remains in concrete tanks for 26 months.

Tasting profile

Balanced and expressive, with strength, depth, purity and a well-preserved structure.
