Paolo Lauciani guided a Fondazione Italiana Sommelier tasting in Rome covering 15 Montevetrano vintages from 1997 to 2012. The wines reflected the contrasting conditions of their seasons while retaining a consistent stylistic identity, and all were presented in strong condition.
