About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Sangiovese is grown in the “Elisa” vineyard at 310 metres above sea level.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand in the second half of September. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks with local yeasts, followed by 15–20 days of post-fermentation maceration.

Ageing

The wine matures in oak barrels for at least 18 months, followed by a minimum of 12 months in bottle in the winery’s cellars before release.
