Toward organic certification

The 2021 harvest marked the first vintage destined to produce certified-organic wines. Organic-oriented work had already been developing for more than a decade through annual trials and progressively less intervention with synthetic products.

The resulting vines showed greater health, vitality and responsiveness to seasonal conditions. During the dry, hotter-than-average 2021 season, they demonstrated resilience. Certification formalized a long-term course of vineyard management intended to combine established quality with healthier soils, plants and more sustainable production.
