Vendemmia 2025

Cold winter and spring conditions delayed budbreak until the first week of April and flowering until late May. A warm June accelerated development, with véraison arriving at the end of July, though the overall timing remained more classical than in several preceding years. Harvest activity began with thinning on 21 August and concluded with the final Cabernet Sauvignon on 3 October.

The high yield of 2024 resulted in lower hormonal load and a natural reduction in fruit per vine in 2025. Combined with favorable seasonal conditions, this produced full-bodied, decisive wines with mature fruit and alcohol levels between 13.5% and 14.5%. Sangiovese thinning fruit from Campo Grande at Valiano was used for the first estate Rosato. After several years of small-scale work, whole-cluster trials were expanded for Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Ciliegiolo.
