Vineyard and terroir
The Negroamaro vines are 30–35 years old and grow in Salento on loose, calcium-rich soils.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand in September. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks, which preserve the grape's bright aromas and the wine's fresh taste.

The wine ages in steel tanks.

Label / history
The wine comes from the Felline winery, part of the Racemi Academy project founded by Gregory Perrucci. The winery plays a leading role in reviving Primitivo di Manduria and producing fine wines from that variety. It takes its name from the ancient area of Felline near Manduria, on the Ionian Sea coast, where, according to legend, Saint Peter landed in 45 AD on his way to Rome to preach Christianity.
