About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in Panzano in Chianti, and the wine is produced and bottled entirely at Fattoria di Rignana. The organically cultivated vines have southeast–southwest exposure at 400 m above sea level, on clayey, calcareous soil containing Galestro. The training system is Guyot.

100% Canaiolo.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand from 10 October. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in stainless-steel vats for 30 days at a controlled temperature no higher than 27°C. Daily pump-overs are performed, without the addition of selected yeast or enzymes.

Vintage: 2020. Alcohol: 14%. Production comprises 600 traditional 0.75 L fiaschi.
Tasting profile
Bright ruby in colour, with floral rose aromas, good minerality and a pleasantly soft character. The palate is aromatic, fruity and velvety.
Serving and pairing
Pair with simple dishes such as pasta with fresh tomato and basil, mixed appetisers, and short-aged pecorino cheeses.
