About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the Brentino Belluno area of Verona.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand during the first ten days of October, then sorted, gently destemmed and pressed. Each variety is vinified separately. Maceration and alcoholic fermentation take place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28–30 °C. The wine is then racked, blended and transferred to French oak barrels, where spontaneous malolactic fermentation begins.
Ageing
The wine ages for 24 months in the same French oak barrels, followed by six months of stabilization and maturation in bottle in the winery’s cool cellars.
