About this wine
Vinification
Made from red grape varieties. The grapes go through a short cold maceration on the skins, which gives the wine its pink colour, followed by gentle pressing. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
Aged in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Tasting profile
A young, bright, lively and versatile rosé, fresh and easy-drinking.
Serving and pairing
Served at 8–12 °C. It pairs with many dishes, especially fish, cured meats and appetizers.
Label / history
Rosatello has been made with a distinctive taste since its creation, at a time when most wines were either red or white. It is now sold with a new, modern look. Ruffino was founded in 1877 in Pontassieve, near Florence, by cousins Ilario and Leopoldo Ruffino.
