About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from hillside vineyards above the northern shore of Lake Corbara, on ancient volcanic soils rich in tuff and limestone.
Vinification
Chardonnay, Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc are harvested by hand at peak ripeness from late August to mid-September. After crushing, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in French oak barrels with different degrees of toasting.
Ageing
The wine matures on its fine lees in barrels for 5–6 months, developing complexity, balance and harmony.
