About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from estate vineyards in the hills beside Lake Corbara, within the Orvieto DOC zone. The soils contain volcanic lava, red clay and limestone tuff. Vineyard yields are strictly limited for the Superiore classification.
Grapes
Trebbiano must account for a prescribed proportion of the blend, although the exact percentage is not given.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand. Each variety is vinified separately in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. The musts are subsequently blended in concrete tanks.
Ageing
The wine rests briefly in concrete tanks after blending.
