San Marzano and DUNE APS continue the Ecofriendly Days

Three years after the first TERRAMIA ecological day, the partnership between San Marzano and the non-profit DUNE APS had expanded into twenty targeted clean-up interventions distributed throughout the year, including winter. Work covered beaches, dunes, the immediate Ionian hinterland and rural areas where concealed or bulky waste had accumulated.

The programme developed a larger volunteer network and partnerships with other organisations and schools. One initiative with the Istituto Comprensivo A. Manzoni di Lizzano brought pupils to Lido Bagnara at Marina di Lizzano. Masseria Bagnara, Teknoservice, Retake Lizzano and GEA ODV also participated, with the moral patronage of the Comune di Lizzano. Further clean-up days were planned for autumn 2024.
