About this wine

Grapes

The base wine is made entirely from Cortese del Monferrato.

Production

A blend of wine, alcohol and sugar is infused with extracts from thirty herbs. Gentian and artemisia are particularly prominent. Most of the herbs and spices come from Pancalieri, a Piedmontese town near Turin on the River Po, known for cultivating medicinal and aromatic plants.

The vermouth is neither filtered nor stabilised, preserving its characteristically cloudy appearance.

Technical data
