The Black Tower — Spring 2025

The issue follows the Gran Lafóa vineyard from Konrad Schweigkofler’s first Sauvignon planting through its transfer to Ulrich Prast and the separate harvesting of its oldest vines. It details the Gran Lafóa cellar sequence and recounts the recognition given to the inaugural 2021 vintage. A feature on LR marks the cuvée’s tenth edition. The architecture section records the December 2024 completion of the new tower, roof terrace, event and tasting spaces, wine shop, barrique cellar and renovated production rooms with 30 new stainless-steel tanks.
