Happy Easter from La Serena, a toast to spring with the winery’s wines
The return of spring brought the vines back into growth and opened a new agricultural season leading towards harvest. La Serena linked this renewal to its effort to operate as a complete, diversified farm rather than a monoculture.
Sowing of chickpeas and spelt had already been completed. These crops formed part of a broader programme of sustainability, bio-architecture and coexistence between agriculture and nature. The family presented human activity and the natural environment as partners rather than opposing forces.
The seasonal message also introduced the estate’s Brunello di Montalcino 2016, Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Gemini and Rosso di Montalcino in the context of Easter meals and spring hospitality.
