Specogna among ten 2023 success stories covered by Forbes

Forbes selected ten entrepreneurial success stories from the Italian small and medium-sized businesses covered during 2023. These companies were presented as Small Giants: modest in scale but capable of significant progress through resilience and courage.

The article contextualized Italian SMEs as more than 200,000 businesses producing over €1 trillion in turnover, generating nearly 40% of national added value and employing 5.4 million people—approximately one-third of the country’s workforce.

Specogna was portrayed as a family-managed Friulian business with three generations of local roots, a young outlook and an international reach. From Corno di Rosazzo in the Colli Orientali, the brothers Cristian and Michele export internationally while maintaining links to their family’s past. Their stated priorities are quality, hard work, resilience, dialogue with the wider world and clearer communication of their territory.

Cristian and Michele dedicated the recognition to their father Graziano, who passed on their attachment to the vineyards and the value of sharing the territory’s character with others.
