About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from the winery’s Tornidora vineyard, situated on the hills of Fumane near Cavalo. The site has a south-eastern exposure and lies at 500 m above sea level.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand, then sorted and destemmed at the winery. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25–28 °C. In February, the wine undergoes a second fermentation on Amarone pomace for 8–10 days at 15 °C.

Ageing

The wine ages for 12 months in new French oak barriques, followed by six months in bottle.

Tasting profile

Rich and complex.

Label / history

While working with his father, Stefano, under the Stefano Accordini label, Tiziano created Corte Alta as his own brand, drawing on his many years of winemaking experience.
