Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in vineyards in the heart of Valpolicella, on the hills of Negrar at 200–250 m above sea level, with a south-eastern exposure.

Rich yet delicate, with a warm character and abundant spicy aromas.
Vintage notes
In 2008, heavy rainfall encouraged vigorous shoot growth and made pest management particularly difficult, requiring constant work in the vineyards. June and July were cool, followed by fairly warm conditions and light rainfall in August and September, which provided excellent conditions for ripening.
