About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown on the slopes around Alba that descend towards the Tanaro River. The soils are iron-rich clay.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested during the first ten days of October and carefully selected. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation take place at controlled temperatures.
Ageing
The wine rests briefly in Slavonian oak barrels, followed by further ageing in bottle.
