About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
Le Bocce is located in Alto Chianti, in the province of Siena. The estate covers 70 hectares, of which 20 hectares are devoted to vines and olive trees. The vineyard has a southwest exposure and receives natural sunlight throughout the day.
Vinification
The wine is made from fully ripened fruit. All stages of production, including bottling, take place at the winery.
Ageing
The wine rests for six months in cement vats, followed by six months in French oak barriques and three months in bottle.

Label / history
The winery occupies the restored Villa Chiantigiana, a historic property that was once part of a monastery and has been converted into a modern cellar.
