Vineyard and terroir
A Maremma Toscana wine from Tenuta Ammiraglia, retaining a close connection to its place of origin while expressing an intense, elegant and modern style.
Grapes
Cabernet Sauvignon with small amounts of Merlot and Syrah.
Vinification
Carefully harvested grapes are delivered to the cellar, destemmed and pressed in steel tanks. Fermentation proceeds at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
Part of the wine matures in second- and third-fill French oak barriques. A subsequent period in bottle allows the components to integrate and reach balance.
Technical data
Alcohol: 12.5%. Available in 0.75 L bottles.
Tasting profile
Terre More 2024 is intense ruby red with purple reflections. Blueberry and blackcurrant lead the aromatic profile, joined by Mediterranean notes of myrtle and juniper and a light spicy accent toward the finish. The palate is fresh and savoury, with especially velvety tannins and a long, persistent finish.
Vintage notes
The 2024 season opened with a particularly mild winter and widespread rainfall through early spring, creating sufficient water reserves for the hot, dry summer. High temperatures supported excellent flowering in June. Rain returned from mid-August, accompanied by normal night-time temperature variation, allowing sound ripening while maintaining freshness in the grapes. Both quality and quantity were good.
