About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Sangiovese grapes grow in the Morellino di Scansano production area.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in late September and pressed. The must is transferred to stainless-steel tanks and fermented at a controlled temperature for 15 days.
Ageing
The wine matures for 12 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, followed by six months in bottle.
