The Tuscan Theorem: art, wine and architecture meet in the new winery designed by Mario Botta

Mario Botta began work at the Radda in Chianti headquarters as the new flagship winery entered its construction phase. The project was expected to require approximately two years and represented the fulfilment of a goal pursued by Adriana Burkard.

Its concept joins art and wine through the three disciplines of the Tuscan Theorem: Geometry of Places, Architecture of Wine and Music of Nature. The building was conceived as a physical expression of their balance, with architecture serving the estate’s relationship to landscape, production and Tuscan identity.
