About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the company’s vineyards near Marsala.
Vinification
The grapes are hand-harvested in two stages: first at peak ripeness, then after they have begun to dry naturally on the vine. They are destemmed, pneumatically pressed and settled for about 24 hours. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at 17–18 °C for 12–15 days.
Ageing
The wine rests on its fine lees for 3–4 months.
