About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Casisano estate occupies a natural terrace in southeastern Montalcino. Its rocky soils consist of the clay-rich mixture known as galestro.
Vinification
Fermentation and maceration take place over 25 days in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine matures for approximately three years in large Slavonian oak casks, followed by four months in bottle.
