About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the single Rompicollo vineyard in Pitigliano. The site faces south and has mineral-rich volcanic soils dominated by tuff. Planting density is 6,500 vines per hectare.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place for 10 days in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine ages for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels.
