About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards are located on the island of Mazzorbo, on silty, sandy soils rich in organic matter and clay.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested entirely by hand during the first ten days of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at 16–17 °C, with 30 days of skin contact.
Ageing
The wine rests briefly in stainless-steel vats.
Label / history
The wine is bottled in Murano glass bottles created by artist Carlo Moretti. Its gold labels are made by the Battiloro family, goldsmiths who have worked in Venice’s Cannaregio district for more than 1,000 years. Each label is applied before the bottle is individually numbered.
