About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The vineyards are on the island of Santa Cristina, on silty, sandy soils. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand at the end of September.

Vinification

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at 25 °C, with 24 days of maceration.

Ageing

The wine matures for 12 months in first- and second-use French oak barrels.

Label / history

The Bisol family makes the wine on Santa Cristina. It is bottled in Murano glass bottles created by artist Carlo Moretti. Its gold label is produced by the Battiloro family, goldsmiths in Venice’s Cannaregio district for more than 1,000 years. Each label is applied before the bottle is individually numbered.
