Vendemmia 2025: the perfect harmony of Vulture signed Cantina di Venosa
The cooperative received 48,000 quintals of grapes in 2025. Aglianico contributed 40,000 quintals, while Moscato, Malvasia, Greco and Merlot made up the remaining volume.
Enologist Donato Gentile characterized the grapes by their integrity, intense and clean aromas, and balance among acidity, ripeness and concentration. A cool spring encouraged natural acidity and precise aromas. A dry summer and bright, regular autumn then supported slow and complete maturation. The resulting whites and rosés retained freshness and energy, while the reds combined intensity, elegance and ageing potential.
President Francesco Perillo presented the vintage as an example of the results possible when the natural environment is respected.
