L’Eroica: intense, demanding, beautiful

The expanded Amatori Verrazzano team brought five riders to L’Eroica, wearing period-style uniforms and using vintage bicycles. Sig. Cappellini captained the group on a 1970s Benotto racing tandem. Mechanical problems were handled by the accompanying mechanic, Osvaldo, and the team completed the 115 km Chianti Classico route across vineyards, mule tracks and unpaved roads.
