Tasting profile
Light ruby red with garnet reflections. Raspberry and cherry meet undergrowth, sweet spices and a subtle note of withered rose on the nose. The palate is elegant and velvety, with silky tannins and pleasant freshness. The persistent, refined finish returns to red fruit and spices.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 14–16 °C in a large Burgundy glass for Pinot Nero. Decanting is unnecessary; serve directly from the bottle. Pair with beef tagliata, duck, porcini mushrooms or medium-aged cheeses. Ageing potential is 8–10 years.
