About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from young vines.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness. Merlot is picked in the second week of September, followed by Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon in the fourth week. Selection takes place twice by hand: first in the vineyard and then on a sorting table. After fine crushing, fermentation proceeds in stainless-steel vats at a controlled 26–30 °C, with daily pump-overs. Maceration lasts 20 days, and malolactic fermentation also occurs in steel.
Ageing
The wine matures for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels and stainless-steel tanks.
Tasting profile
Pleasant, refreshing and light, with juicy dark-fruit and violet notes and an easy-drinking character.
