About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is grown on hilly volcanic soils in the province of Verona.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes are placed in small containers for slight drying, concentrating their sugars. Once raisined in November, they undergo two to three weeks of maceration, followed by traditional fermentation on the skins.
Ageing
Depending on the vintage, the wine ages in oak barriques for one to two years, followed by a short period in stainless-steel tanks before bottling.
