About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the hills of eastern Friuli. The vines average 30 years of age and grow in clay soils layered with Eocene marl and sandstone.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and macerated for 10 days at no more than 26 °C. They are then gently pressed and fermented at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine rests briefly on its fine lees in steel tanks.
Serving and pairing
Pair with red meat, game or aged cheeses.
