About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Zuani vineyard lies in the commune of San Floriano del Collio. Its soils are predominantly marl and sand dating from the middle Eocene. The favourable climate supports grape ripening.
Vinification
Carefully selected late-harvest grapes are vinified separately by variety. Cold maceration and temperature-controlled fermentation take place in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine ages on its lees for 10 months in small, new French and American oak barrels. Bâtonnage is performed daily at the beginning of this period and weekly thereafter.
