Vineyard and terroir
The Pinot Grigio grows in the southern part of Valdadige, in Veneto, in northern Italy. Moraine soils on the Valdadige slopes give structure and a light mineral character; alluvial soils near the Adige River bring freshness and delicacy. Sharp temperature changes and constant winds let the grapes ripen slowly: aromas and sugar develop by day, while cool nights preserve acidity. The vines are trained on the traditional pergola trentina and guyot systems, which help control ripening and protect the grapes from too much sun.
Vinification
Fermentation is long, in stainless steel tanks, to preserve the purity and precision of the aromas.
Ageing
The wine ages on its own lees until bottling, which adds texture and depth.
Tasting profile
Fresh, elegant and mineral, with lively acidity and a clean, transparent structure. The variety gives refined, structured wines that keep their freshness while gaining depth and a gentle mineral note, with a balance between aroma and structure. The flavour is clean, and the finish is lasting and refreshing.
Serving and pairing
Suited to a light lunch or dinner outdoors on a warm spring or summer day, especially with Mediterranean dishes.
