Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The Pinot Nero is grown on limestone and marl slopes in Trentino, northern Italy. The mountain climate, with its marked temperature swings, helps preserve the grape's acidity and precise aromas.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness. Maceration takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature of 27 °C.
Ageing
The wine is aged in steel tanks and large oak barrels. This preserves its freshness and adds a soft structure without a pronounced oak character.
Tasting profile
A light, polished style with plenty of freshness. Delicate, without too much weight or harsh tannins, in a cooler, northern style of Pinot Noir. Acidity is well preserved and the aromas are precise. The structure is soft, with no pronounced oak character.
