Questo vino

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from Oasi Mantellina in Lugana, at 100 m a.s.l. The vineyard faces south-west and has clayey soils. It is trained to Guyot.

Grapes and harvest

Mainly Turbiana, enriched by a small percentage of Cortese. Manual harvest takes place in September.

Vinification and ageing

The grapes are pressed in an inert environment and ferment in stainless steel at 14-15 deg C. The wine rests 4 months on fine lees before bottling and 2 months in bottle before release.

Technical data

Vintage 2025. Alcohol 12.73% vol. Total acidity 5.65 g/l. Residual sugar 1.9 g/l. Dry extract 23.5 g/l. pH 3.27. Format: 750 ml.

Tasting profile

A white wine of sapidity, freshness and aromatic complexity, with jasmine, white peach and bergamot. The palate is fresh and long, with citrus and ripe-fruit return in the aftertaste.

Vintage notes and pairing

The 2025 vintage had adequate winter rain, a cool unstable spring, early summer heat, stable ripening conditions and late-season temperature fluctuations that preserved freshness and aromatic complexity. Pairings include sushi, sashimi, pasta with clams, vegetable and spice couscous, salt-crusted sea bass and sea bream with Mediterranean herbs.
