Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow on the hills of Alto Monferrato, in the southern part of the province of Asti. The vineyards have clay and limestone soils and are planted at a density of 4,000–4,500 vines/ha.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes are gently pressed. Fermentation with yeast takes place at a controlled temperature in pressurised steel tanks.
Serving and pairing
Suitable as an aperitif and with all kinds of desserts.
Label / history
The wine is named after Pietro Laudano, president of Araldica Castelvero from 1956 to 2000.
