Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from vineyards in Serralunga d'Alba and Castiglione Falletto, at altitudes of 250–370 metres. The vines are 45 years old on average.
Vinification
Produced only in the best vintages, the wine ferments in steel tanks at 31 °C for four to five weeks.
Ageing
It matures for 24 months in large oak barrels and is ready to drink now.
Tasting profile
Fragrant, elegant, powerful and rich, with a balanced character. The palate is generous and juicy.
