Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow on steep slopes around Bolzano at 400–600 m above sea level. Volcanic rock runs through the local soil and contributes to the wine's distinctive character.
Vinification
Winemaker Stefan Filippi selects the grapes personally, following centuries-old traditions. Harvest runs from late September to early October. The grapes undergo a short maceration at low temperatures, then gentle pressing. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks, and the winery's own yeasts are used during maturation.
Tasting profile
Complex in taste with a rich bouquet, reflecting the grape variety and the local terroir. Fresh and full-bodied yet elegant and light, with intense fruit flavour and a full, expressive aroma.
Serving and pairing
Serve chilled. It works as an aperitif and pairs well with seafood dishes.
