The estate chose to plant Freisa after determining that its clay soils, which contain significant limestone deposits, were particularly well suited to the variety.
Ageing
The wine is aged in small oak barrels.
Tasting profile
Rich, clean and refreshing, with firm tannins, a slightly earthy character and a subtle saline note.
Label / history
The wine debuted in 2001, with an initial production of 4,000 bottles.
