Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from small plots in the commune of Verduno, at 270–350 m above sea level. The soils are limestone marl containing clay, sand and silt. They promote even ripening and allow Nebbiolo’s delicate varietal character to emerge.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested entirely by hand, selected and transported to the winery in small 20 kg crates to preserve the berries intact. After destemming, the must is transferred by gravity into open French oak vats and stainless-steel tanks. Fermentation uses native yeasts, with gentle pump-overs and punch-downs. Malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel.
Ageing
The wine matures in large oak casks, followed by a short period in bottle before release.
Tasting profile
The 2024 vintage is refined, bright and youthful, with a lighter, fresher and more approachable expression of Nebbiolo. Its delicate varietal character is evident, and the wine is easy to drink.
Serving and pairing
Pair with cured meats, pasta with rich sauces or semi-hard cheeses.
