Vineyard and terroir
The Carignano fruit comes from vineyards in Sulcis and Gallura, Sardinia. The sites lie at 100 metres above sea level, face east and southeast, and have predominantly sandy and clay soils with some chalk.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at night. Fermentation takes place in computer-controlled stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
After fermentation, half of the wine matures in oak barrels and half remains in steel tanks. It is released two years after the harvest.

Label / history
In the Gallurese dialect, Assaje means “now that’s something.”
